The makers of Pailam Pilaga set a release date for their film on Friday. The Sai Teja Kalvakota starrer will hit theatres on September 20.

The makers shared the release date on the official X page for the film, adding the caption, “Get ready, our Pilla gadu is coming with a blasting resound!” Rama Krishna Boddula and SK Srinivas are producing Pailam Pilaga under the banner of Happy Horse Films.

On Thursday, the makers had launched their new single ‘Naalo Sagama,’ which is rendered by legendary playback singer KS Chitra. Yashwanth Nag is the music director for the film. On the technical front, Raviteja Kurmana is the editor, and Sandeep Baddula is the cinematographer. 

Pailam Pilaga is directed by Anand Gurram, who has earlier made shorts like Men - Unheard and Abdul. Anand has also penned the story and screenplay for the film. While Pavani Karanam plays the female lead, the film’s supporting cast includes the likes of Chitram Seenu, Mirchi Kiran, Dubbing Janaki, and Pranav Sonu.

Sai Teja last appeared in the Hansika Motwani starrer My Name is Shruthi, while Pavani's last major screen appearance was in the film Pareshan.
